This is your CorelDRAW X7 default workspace, here is a brief introduction of what you will get here...


1- Title bar. Displays the title of the open document.

2- Menu bar. The area containing pull down options & commands.

3- Standard tool box. A detachable bar that contains shortcuts to menu & other commands, such as opening, saving & printing.

4- Property bar. A detachable bar with commands that relate to the active tool or object.

5 Tool box. Contains tools for creating & modifying objects in the drawing.

6- Drawing window. The area bordered by the scroll bars & application controls. It includes the drawing page & the surrounding area. 

7- Drawing page. The rectangular area inside the drawing window. It is the printable area of your work area.

8- Rulers. Calibrated lines with markers used to determine the size and position of objects in a drawing. 

9- Docker. A window containing available commands & settings, relevant to a specific tool or task.

10- Color palette. A dockable bar that contains color swatches.

11- Status bar. Contains information about object properties such as type, color, fill & resolution. The status bar also shows the current mouse position.

12- Document palette. A dockable bar that contains color swatches for the current document.

13- Document navigator. An area that contains control for moving between pages & adding pages.

14- Navigator. A button that open a smaller display to help you move around a drawing.

The screen is a centralized location from which you can access learning resources, subscription information, & alternative application workspaces. You can also find out about new features, receive the latest product updates, & view designs created by  CorelDRAW users from around the world.

The collection of specialized workspaces are designed to help you increase your productivity by making more accessible the tools that you use most often in specific workflows or tasks. Available workspaces include Default, Lite, Classic, Illustration, Page layout & Adobe Illustrator.
To choose a workspace, click Window > Workspace, or choose one of the available workspaces from the Welcome screen.
To add tools or control to the active workspaces, click the Quick customize button.
